Mobile Notary Cost Estimator

Note: The travel fee is due upfront and is non-refundable. The notarial fee ($5 per notarial act) is due at signing, or you may choose to pay in full at the time of booking. The appointment / waiting fee includes your time for coordinating signers and witnesses, waiting, and any necessary document review. You are not charged per signature — fees are based on notarial acts, travel, and time spent. This estimate may vary depending on actual waiting time, witness coordination, parking, and other circumstances.

Mobile Notary Services – Focused, Professional Care

Our mobile notary services are designed specifically for individuals who are homebound, hospitalized, or residing in care facilities. We provide thoughtful, appointment-based service for clients who are unable to travel and require notarization in a more supportive environment.

Conveniently located near downtown Akron, we serve clients within a 10-mile radius of the 800 block of E. Buchtel Ave (44305). This allows us to remain responsive to nearby hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living communities, and private residences.

Our Approach

We understand that notarizations in medical or care settings often involve important and time-sensitive documents. Each appointment is conducted with:

  • Patience and professionalism

  • Respect for the signer’s condition and surroundings

  • Careful attention to awareness and willingness

  • Strict adherence to notarial laws and standards

Our responsibility is to protect the signer, verify identity, deter fraud, and ensure every notarization is properly completed.

By Appointment Only

Services are provided by appointment to ensure each client receives the time and attention they deserve.

While limited short-notice appointments may be available, we are not an on-demand service. We intentionally maintain a structured schedule to support accurate and compliant notarizations.

Identification Requirements

All signers must present a valid, government-issued photo ID.

  • ID must be current or expired no more than 3 years

  • Name on the ID should reasonably match the document

  • ID must include a photo and signature

Acceptable forms of identification include:

  • Driver’s License

  • State Identification Card

Credible Witness Option

If a signer does not have acceptable identification, a credible witness may be used when permitted.

Credible witnesses must:

  • Personally know the signer

  • Present valid government-issued ID

  • Be impartial and not benefit from the document

  • Complete a credible witness affidavit and take an oath

We reserve the right to decline the use of a credible witness if requirements are not clearly met.

Some documents require one or more witnesses in addition to notarization.

Witnesses must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Be mentally competent and aware

  • Be impartial and not benefit from the document

  • Present valid identification

Additional Witness Restrictions

To protect the integrity of the notarization:

  • Individuals involved in the signer’s healthcare or care environment may not serve as witnesses

  • Employees or staff of hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living, or retirement facilities are not permitted to act as witnesses

In certain cases, witnesses may also be required to have no familial relationship to the signer, including:

  • Immediate or extended family

  • Step-family

  • In-laws

Witnesses must be fully independent, disinterested parties.

Clients are responsible for arranging qualified witnesses in advance. Witnesses may be available for an additional fee, depending on availability.

Signer Awareness & Willingness

All signers must:

  • Be alert, coherent, and able to communicate

  • Understand the document they are signing

  • Be signing voluntarily and without pressure

We will not proceed if these conditions are not met.

Service Boundaries

To maintain quality and compliance:

  • Service is limited to the defined local area

  • Appointments are required

  • All identification and witness requirements must be satisfied prior to notarization

We reserve the right to decline or stop a notarization if proper conditions are not present.
