Mobile Notary Services –

Care & Facility Notary Service

Our mobile notary services are available to the local community, providing convenient, appointment-based notarizations at your home, office, hospital, care facility, or agreed-upon location. We are equipped to handle a variety of situations, including those that may require additional care, coordination, or time-sensitive attention.

While we serve all clients within our service area, we understand that certain circumstances—such as medical or mobility-related needs—may require added flexibility. When possible, we make every effort to prioritize urgent or sensitive requests based on availability.

Conveniently located near downtown Akron, we serve clients within a 10-mile radius of the 800 block of E. Buchtel Ave (44305), allowing us to remain responsive to nearby hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living communities, businesses, and private residences.

Our Approach

We understand that some notarizations—especially those involving medical, legal, or time-sensitive documents—require a higher level of care. Each appointment is conducted with:

  • Patience and professionalism
  • Respect for the signer’s condition and environment
  • Careful attention to awareness and willingness
  • Strict adherence to notarial laws and standards

Our responsibility is to verify identity, deter fraud, and ensure each notarization is completed properly and lawfully.

By Appointment Only

Services are provided by appointment to ensure each client receives the time and attention they deserve.

While limited short-notice appointments may be available, we are not an on-demand service. We maintain a structured schedule to support accurate and compliant notarizations.

Identification Requirements

All signers must present a valid, government-issued photo ID.

  • ID must be current or expired no more than 3 years
  • Name should reasonably match the document
  • ID must include a photo and signature

Acceptable forms of identification include:

  • Driver’s License
  • State Identification Card
  • U.S. Passport
  • Military Identification

Credible Witness Option

If a signer does not have acceptable identification, a credible witness may be used when permitted.

Credible witnesses must:

  • Personally know the signer
  • Present valid government-issued ID
  • Be impartial and not benefit from the document
  • Complete a credible witness affidavit and take an oath

We reserve the right to decline the use of a credible witness if requirements are not clearly met.

Witness Requirements

Some documents require one or more witnesses in addition to notarization.

Witnesses must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be mentally competent and aware
  • Be impartial and not benefit from the document
  • Present valid identification

Additional Considerations

Witness eligibility can vary depending on the document and applicable requirements. In many cases, the following individuals may not qualify as witnesses:

  • Individuals directly involved in the signer’s care
  • Staff or employees of hospitals, nursing homes, or care facilities
  • Individuals with access to the signer’s medical or financial information
  • Family members, including relatives by blood, marriage, adoption, or step-relations

Because requirements can differ, we recommend confirming witness eligibility in advance. Clients are responsible for arranging qualified witnesses prior to the appointment.

Witnesses may be available upon request for an additional fee, subject to availability.

Signer Awareness & Willingness

All signers must:

  • Be alert, coherent, and able to communicate
  • Understand the document they are signing
  • Be signing voluntarily and without pressure

We will not proceed if these conditions are not met.

Service Boundaries

To maintain quality and compliance:

  • Service is limited to the defined local area
  • Appointments are required
  • All identification and witness requirements must be met prior to notarization

We reserve the right to decline or stop a notarization if proper conditions are not present.

Commitment to Professional Standards

We take our role seriously and approach every appointment with professionalism, respect, and attention to detail.

Whether meeting clients in a private residence, workplace, or care setting, our goal is to provide a notarization experience that is convenient, compliant, and handled with integrity.

Note: The Travel & Scheduling Fee is due at booking and is non-refundable, as it reserves your appointment time and service availability. The notarial fee ($5 per notarial act) is due at signing, or you may choose to pay in full at the time of booking. The appointment / waiting fee includes your time for coordinating signers and witnesses, waiting, and any necessary document review. You are not charged per signature — fees are based on notarial acts, travel, and time spent. This estimate may vary depending on actual waiting time, witness coordination, parking, and other circumstances.
